Draft. This policy covers the Overseer app, which isn't available yet, and will be finalised before it launches.
Effective [date]
The Overseer app stores what it needs to send you the alerts you ask for, and shows ads. Both are described below.
Overseer itself doesn't collect your location, contacts or photos. What the ad provider collects is covered under Advertising.
To sign you in, and to decide which alerts to send you and when.
The app shows ads provided by [ad provider]. [What the ad provider collects, whether ads are personalised, and how to opt out.]
Delete your account from the app's settings at any time. This removes your account, stack, alert settings, devices, alert history and sessions, and revokes Overseer's link to your Apple ID.
Browsing this site and using the public API need no account. The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without tracking you across sites. Requests to the public API are logged without any user identifiers and kept for [log retention period].
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
